Middle Years

In the Northern Territory, Middle School encompasses Years 7-9.

We are delighted to announce that Milkwood now offers Class 7 and 8.

In a ‘future of our school’ meeting in 2021 we noted a strong desire from parents, staff and leadership, to expand into Year 8 in 2024 and Year 9 in 2026. Our plans to do so will be reviewed each year, and will be informed by:

• The best interests of the students
• The needs of families
• The school’s capacity to meet these needs

Milkwood relocated to a larger site early 2025. A fit-for-purpose site is one of the markers of Milkwood’s capacity to offer a Steiner Middle and High School in Darwin.
